how it works

Total Value Game is a business dynamic that simulates a year of work within an organization, where different teams must make decisions to execute projects and move towards their objectives. The entire game revolves around three major dimensions: economic value, relational value and adaptive capacity.

Participants are divided into teams. Each team receives its own objective and limited resources: money and time. Throughout different rounds, which represent the evolution of a year, teams must invest their time and money to execute projects that bring them closer to their objectives, just like real life. Each project has a different impact on the three dimensions of the game. Some projects can generate more economic value, others can strengthen relational value and others can improve the adaptive capacity of the whole.

The key is that no decision is neutral. One team's decisions directly affect their own result, but can also influence the overall result: they can unlock opportunities, create dependencies, generate tensions or multiply impact if worked on collaboratively.

At the end of the game, we will see what organization we have co-created together. Which teams have made it to year-end, which have fallen by the wayside and, above all, we will ask ourselves: are we a total company?
